Alicia Debnam-Kerry leaves ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ after 7 seasons – Deadline

Spoiler alert: The following story reveals the main plot points of tonight’s AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead episode.

Alicia Debnam-Carrie bids farewell to AMC Fear the Walking Dead After 6 seasons in tonight’s episode titled “Amina”. Devnam-Carey, who played Alicia Clark, was part of the cast from the beginning of the show.

Devanam-Kerry’s departure follows news of her casting in the upcoming Hulu series St. X. Which was announced earlier this month. Deadline speculated at the time that his new gig would probably prevent him from continuing the AMC series.

Alicia really went through some difficult and emotional moments in her final appearance as she struggled to become a zombie. The tension on the other hand was intense but with the help of a mysterious little girl – who through her subconscious becomes her little nature – Alika survives the fever and fights a good fight and survives another day.

But before that, he corrects with Victor Strand (Coleman Domingo) on the beach when he and the others escape.

“Victor, I didn’t just save you so you can save what I couldn’t. I did it because I love you too, “Alika tells Victor from the beach as he gets into a boat.

In the final beats of the episode, Alicia embarks on a new mission and reveals that she is feeling better than ever.

“[I’m going] I spend all my time trying to find those who have heard my message and make sure I have the time I have left, ”she says to her 8-year-old self.

With Alicia surviving the fever, it is possible that she may return someday in the future. For now, however, Devnam-Carey has confirmed his departure from the series via social media.

“I started this crazy journey at the age of 21 but now at the age of 28, after 7 years and 100 episodes, I have decided that it is time for me to move forward as an actor and as a person. Like the nature of our work I need to find new challenges, new opportunities and create a new chapter for myself. I am so lucky to be a part of something so great for so long but I hope you will be able to understand and respect my choices for further expansion and growth. I would not have stayed here without all of you and I am very grateful, “he wrote in part.

To my dear feartwd family, tonight is the end of a wonderful and life-changing journey to play the role of Alicia Clark.

Where to start.
ধরনের I will never be able to fully express the kind of journey I have taken for so long on feartwd. It has given me many gifts.

This is where the most extraordinary training as an actor has given me the opportunity to grow and learn. I have had the honor of working with so many inspiring and talented people. It provided new opportunities, as well as guidance and it bound me to the incredible fans who supported me along the way.

It has been exciting, challenging, fun, tough and inspiring.

I’ve had many conversations over the years with our Shoraner @ Goldbergian and @Andruchamblis and I think we’ve found a way to end Alicia’s story. It is beautiful, hopeful and elusive.

From crews and casts from Los Angeles to Vancouver, Mexico to Texas, I am grateful for everything you have taught me. I love you all so much and I am so lucky to have you all by my side. For the cast ahead, I’m so excited for what you’ll create next! And my ride or dice who were with me every step of the way (you know who you are) I will be forever grateful to you.

It’s bitter sweet, but it’s time.

Thank you for everything
My love to all of you.
