Aquaman’s James One Talks Moving ‘The Trench’ is planning a new film.

Aquaman Director James One discusses the possibility of moving his plans for a canceled film, TrenchIn other DC Universe projects.

Following the success of the 2018 film, Aquaman, A sequel to another project based on animals known as The Trench. In the film version, The Trench was a tribe of Atlantis that turned into fish-like monsters we saw in the movie. Warner Bros. finally decided not to go ahead with the film.

From Trench Canceled, a few bits of what the movie will be released. Most notably, James One revealed that the film is actually a solo Black Manta film starring Yahya Abdul-Matin II. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom It may have something to do with it.

Speaking to Comicbook.com, James One was asked what his ideas were. Trench Find their way in another movie. The director was rather vague with his answer and talked about how 20% -30% of his ideas were actually used in his films:

“Listen, I think whatever I bring, whatever I do, if I bring something I don’t end up using, it doesn’t mean I can’t be motivated to use it any other way. It’s my problem, I’ve come up with a lot of ideas and I have a lot of ideas just dripping, but frankly, I can’t use them. So I’ll talk about all the different thoughts and ideas I’ve come up with, I’ve probably used 20-30% of them in my work, and so I have a drawer that could evolve into something else. “

Directed by James One, the upcoming sequel features Arthur Curry as Aquaman, Amber Hard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Orm / Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nerias, Yana Yahya Abdel as Black Manta. Morrison as Arthur Curry, Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin, Vincent Reagan as Atlan, Jani Jaho as Stingray, India Moore as Carson, and Game of Thrones star Pillow Asbeck in an unknown role.
