Doctor Strange 2 artist Kevin Phase has added two Marvel locations

Speaking to Variety, Alexis Wazbrot confirmed that it was in fact the Living Tribunal and Savage Land, and that they were added at the request of Kevin Feis, President of Marvel Studios – or at least from the VFX team’s original ideas. As Wesbrot explains:

“One was an Incan Statue World, which ended in a movie because Kevin Phase thought, ‘Well, this could be a great world to keep in the Living Tribunal.’ So that world became Living Tribunal World … We proposed a jungle and Kevin Fez said, ‘Well, it might be better if it was barbaric. [Land]. ‘ This is a world that exists in the Marvel Universe, so we had to add dinosaurs. We had to model and texture and render and animate dinosaurs for two seconds, which is not very affordable. “

The Living Tribunal is a cosmic entity from Marvel Comics, which acts as the ultimate authority for multiverse, tasked with maintaining cosmic balance. Savage Land is a prehistoric land where dinosaurs still roam and are home to Marvel characters like Ka-Jar and Sauron. It has been inspected more than once by X-Men and at one stage was the basis of Magneto’s operation.
