Jane Saki joins the network in the fall – deadline

Jane Sackie will join MSNBC this fall, as the network has officially announced its plans after her tenure as White House press secretary.

Psaki will be present throughout all of the network’s programs, and will also have a role during the mid-term and 2024 presidential election coverage of NBC and MSNBC’s primetime elections. MSNBC says it is also developing a program for the network’s streaming channel.

News of Saki’s transfer was leaked to MSNBC in April, as he was still the press secretary, but he publicly declined to confirm it. He gave his last White House press briefing on May 13.

His move to MSNBC is not uncommon, as there is a revolving door between the presidential administration and just the news gigs.
