Both sides are presenting their cases to a seven-member jury, judges and a growing online audience. Hard was on stand for two days when the court adjourned from May 9 – 12. Depp’s cross-examination from Hard’s lawyers ended April 21.
Before Hard, the first witness in defense was forensic psychologist Dr. Don Hughes. Hughes testified about Hard’s allegations of domestic and sexual violence by Depp. On the cross, Depp’s attorneys tried to weaken his knowledge of the couple’s relationship.
