Lupita Nyong’o ‘Lady In The Lake’ Exits Apple Series – Deadline

Lupita Nyong has also left Lady in the Lake, Apple’s limited series Laura Lippman’s book adaptation. Nyong will also star alongside Natalie Portman in the series, sources confirmed the deadline.

The limited series takes place in Baltimore in the 60’s, where an unsolved murder in the role of housewife and mother, Maddie Schwartz, Portman, pushes her to rediscover her life as an investigative journalist and sets her on the path to a confrontation with Cleo Sherwood, a role that Nyong ‘Was played by. o, a hardworking woman motherhood, many jobs and an enthusiastic commitment to advance Baltimore’s Black Progressive Agenda.

Lady in the Lake Is powered by Hani boy Helmer Alma Harel, who co-created and co-wrote Colony And The Man in the High Castle Author Drew Ryan. The Straight-to-Series Order is produced by Portman, Harrell, Ryan, Christopher Leggett, who is part of Harrell’s producers through his new production company Jusa, Portman’s production partner Sophie Maas, Crazyrose’s principal Jean-Marc Valley, and Nathan.
