Titiana Miller, daughter of rapper Master P, whose struggle with addiction was recorded in the WE TV reality series Growing up hip hopDied at age 29.
The news was announced on Instagram by Master P. Although no cause has been identified, the 52-year-old rapper wrote that “mental illness and substance abuse are a real problem we are not afraid to talk about.”
“Our family is dealing with an overwhelming grief over the loss of my daughter Titiana,” Master P wrote. “We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can mourn. We appreciate all of the love and support of prayer. Mental illness and substance abuse are real problems that we cannot be afraid to talk about. With God, we will overcome it. “
Miller’s older brother, Romeo Miller, attended a memorable episode with his sister Growing up hip hop, Where Master P encouraged a reluctant Titiana to enter rehabilitation, wrote on Instagram last night, “Our family is dealing with an irresistible grief over the loss of my younger sister Titiana. We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can mourn. We appreciate all the prayers, love and support and although this is a sad time, I am forever grateful for the memories I had with my wonderful sister. Love for your loved ones, life is short. Silver lining, I know she’s in a better place and finally at peace and free. God bless you. “
TMZ reported that law enforcement sources said paramedics arrived at a home in the San Fernando Valley at 2:30 a.m. Saturday and found Titiana Miller dead at the scene.
