Mina Sandwall, Michael Simeno will lead the fiction podcast series ‘Jane Anonymous’ –

Exclusive: Mina Sandwall (Lost space) And Michael Simino (Love, Victor) Is set to lead the thriller podcast series Jane AnonymousWhich will premiere exclusively on Apple Podcasts and the Fictionz app

The series was adapted by Stephanie Woo (green plastic sandals) based on the novel of the same name by Laurie Faria Stollerz (Blue Hall for Nightmares). It is Jane will be followed by (Sandwall), an 18-year-old girl who fights to escape a kidnapper, her relationship with a fellow prisoner (Simino) and their struggle to understand that they thought everything they knew could be a lie.

Andres Rosende, who produces and edits the popular podcast Bad Friends of comedians Bobby Lee and Andrew Santino, is directing the series, which will consist of five, 20-minute episodes. The first is set to be released on June 2. Sundwall and Cimino are producing alongside Fictionz, which is financing and distributing the project.

“Laurie’s confessional writing style lends itself well to the podcast medium,” Rosende said. “It’s been an emotional project for me ever since I brought the book Fiction.”

“It’s been a great experience working with everyone and playing with Michael to adapt this book to audio!”, Says Sandwall.

“Under the direction of Andres and the writing of Laurie and Stephanie, Mina and I, as actors and producers, are completely immersed in the story and hope the audience will like it as much as we do,” added Simino.

Sandwall played the role of Penny Robinson in Netflix’s sci-fi series Lost in Space, which ended its third and final season in December. He has also appeared in films such as DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Freeheld and Maggie’s Plan.

Simino Hulu’s Love starred in the Victor series and is currently appearing in Netflix’s Rebel Wilson Comedy Senior Year. Additional credits include Annabelle Comes Home and the podcast series Black Box, Joel McHale, Kelsey Grammar and more.
