The glittering ceremony at the Billboard Music Awards on May 15 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, traditionally brought together many stars this year. The event was hosted by renowned rapper and award winner Shawn Combs, better known by his pseudonym, P. DD.

Singer Mary J. Blizzard received a special award – named after him as an award icon. “For me, being an icon means overcoming obstacles for incredible achievement and being admired by everyone for making an impact on a lot of people. And that’s what I always imagined,” the singer said.
