Steve Kazanzian to step down as Promax chief, Stacey La Cotera appointed CEO – Deadline

Steve Kazanzian, president and CEO of Promax, has been resigning for the past seven years. Stacey La Cotera, the current GM and executive producer of the nonprofit Global Association for the Entertainment Marketing Industry, will take over the top job.

Kazanjian will be a consultant for the next few months.

Kotera Has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 20 years, Joined the Promax Awards category in 2008 from the Recording Academy’s Grammy Awards, becoming VP. His responsibilities as a leader at events around the world and his role as executive producer for the Association’s domestic and European conferences and shows were first expanded. He was named GM and executive producer in 2016, overseeing the association’s global business and activities for awards, events, marketing and industry relations.
