The director of ‘Thor 4’ has revealed if it is a passing The Torch film

Thor: Love and Thunder Director Taika Waiti has opened his mouth about whether the movie is a passing The Torch film.

The current slate of the fourth episode of Marvel Cinematic Universe is clearly running a repetitive theme. In particular, a good portion of the various projects seem to be setting new actors to take the title of a particular character or involving characters who have already taken on roles and trying to understand what that means. Such a project may or may not happen Thor: Love and Thunder.

When the film was first announced during the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster was returning to MCU and that Thor’s hammer would be directed by Mjölnir. While it’s not entirely clear how he got the hammer, we do know that Jane Foster’s upcoming film will have the same power and ability as Thor. This has led some to wonder whether the upcoming movie will be a torch-type film and whether it will survive the upcoming battle with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor Gore The God Butcher.

Director Weight In

Time to talk Game radar, Thor: Love and Thunder Director Taika Waiti opened his mouth to see if the upcoming movie is a passing The Torch type movie. Although he acknowledged that he did not know what Marvel planned for the future, he was convinced that this was not the case.

“And also, it’s really fun, the idea that Thor [has] Stormbreaker got that big ax, and now the back of his hammer and that in someone else’s hand. It’s not his hammer anymore. It’s the idea that someone is taking his place. I think a lot of fans are probably going to guess, ‘Oh, well, this is the fleeting moment of the torch’ … I’m not secretive about Marvel’s plans for the future, but I don’t think that’s the case. “
