Three up for hero and villain partner, first Friday entertainment –

Exclusive: LA-based literary management and production company Heroes & Villains Entertainment has promoted longtime directors Benjamin Blake, Henry Huang and Jennifer Reck as partners. All three have been promoted to first managing HVEE partners since the company was formed in 2008. They join their new station with founding partners Marcus Gowerg, Mikhail Nefield and Dick Helenbrand.

Blake began his career in theater in New York City. He worked at CAA before founding his own management company, Freudog Entertainment, which was acquired in 2015 by Heroes and Villains. After working at ICM, Industry Entertainment and Station 3 Entertainment, Huang joined HVE in 2015. Roy joined Morris in 2016, working at William Morris, CAA and Benderspink before becoming a manager at Principal Entertainment LA. He is also the producer-partner of author-director Lauren Miller Rosen at Lilac Pictures.

“Benjamin, Jane and Henry have been key members of Hero and Villain for many years. Heroes and Villains also announced today that it will expand, with the acquisition of enlightened management firm First Friday Entertainment. Founders Krista Sip and Devon Byers will immediately join HVE’s management team, bringing with them a complete list of their clients.
