Exclusive: Streamer Viaplay is once again looking out of Scandinavian Noir Greenlight a feature about a woman in two timelines, a messy divorce and a difficult teenage experience.
Something is going on It is based on a popular novel by Martina Hughes and features Swedish actors Alexandra Rapaport and Ella Hammerstein Lidberg in Petra’s dual role. Hugh adapts to Peter Arhenius.
Petra is portrayed in two twists and turns of her life – the protagonist struggling through divorce as a contemporary 50-year-old and in the late 1980s as a 15-year-old in the late twenties facing her own parents.
Shanti Roney (The Online Murder), Gustaf Hammerstein (Girl with dragon tattoos), Jessica Lidberg (Together) And Adrian Massius (The Truth Will Out) All the features of the film, which explores the universal themes of love, anger and self-discovery.
The commission represents another move away from the traditional Scandinavian genre for vaiplay, RSVP, A Swedish rumor about a nurse in search of love.
The film is produced by Bigstar Cale Johnson and Matthias Gruffman, executive producers of ViaPlay as Sara Askeloff and Helena Larand. The image is distributed worldwide by ViaPlay Content Sales.
