Warner Bros. Discovery has officially named Nathaniel Brown, chief corporate communications officer of the newly merged company.
Brown will oversee global communications and media relations and will act as keynote speaker. He previously held the position of Executive VP of Discovery, Inc.’s global communications company. He reported to David Livy, Warner Bros. Discovery’s chief corporate affairs officer.
“Nathaniel is a great executive who is a whip smart, a collaborator and just a universal great man,” Levy said. “Throughout his career, he has worked hard to build strong relationships and trust with journalists around the world. He is a boss who has brought consistent leadership and has been a great partner to Zas and the entire management team. Nathaniel deserves this great opportunity, and I know he will do a great job representing our company and telling the story of Warner Bros. Discovery for the next few years. “
“I am extremely proud to continue to support our CEO and our entire global leadership team as we build the world’s most dynamic media company,” Brown said. “It simply came to our notice then. The opportunity to collaborate and lead excellent communicators is thrilling and I can’t wait to roll up our sleeves as a team of all of us. “
A well-liked and respected corporate communications strategist, Brown joined Discovery in 2019, having previously served as SVP, Corporate Affairs, for 21st Century Fox and its predecessor, News Corp. Prior to that, he led communications for MTV and XM Satellite Radio, and began his career in corporate media at Sony BMG Music. He has been instrumental in the industry’s largest and most prominent M&A, including Discovery’s integration with AT&T’s Warner Media, the sale of 21st Century Fox to Disney, and the creation of SiriusXM.
